You know what makes me happy...

..that the exchange rate is getting better which gives me even more of an excuse to shop!! I checked the MAC cosmetics UK website and I can get an eyeshadow pot for AUD$19, where if I were to buy it in Australia I would have to pay $32! Hells YEAH! Stocking up when I head over. I'm also in need of a new primer. And maybe a new cream blush... and eyeliner... this is dangerous... *grin*

But anyway, YAY! I hardly shopped in July and barely shopped the last time I was in Europe. This time, I'm going all out! Well within reason.

So I started the other day. I bought myself the cutest grey ankle boots, which I wore tonight and they looked fab! I also finally bought two pairs of tights, one green and one purple. There was a pink pair I really liked so I think I'll be going back. And some boots I had my eye on. It's this cute little store near Waschauer Strasse. If you're ever in Berlin I can give you the name. There's also this little shop (a few actually, but I liked the clothes in this one) where the designer was sitting in the store making clothes. There was a really nice grey dress I liked but it was quite pricey. If they take credit I'm gonna get it. I've given myself a limit of how much I am allowed to put on my credit card. Not going too badly so far! Just wait... haha.

I'll be back in Berlin for NYE so I'm not sure if I should do shopping now or do shopping just before I come home... maybe a little now and a little then. And a little in London.

And I think I'm going to dye my hair a richer brown and get a fringe when I'm in London. I was watching The Devil Wears Prada today and love Anne Hathaway's hair in it.

It's a little boring but I'll get a new, radical hairstyle for when I come home. Travel regrowth is a bitch, but I want something new; over my natural colour. But having a fringe can be really difficult to deal with. For 1. Sweatiness. 2. Increased risk of forehead pimples. 3. Fringe separation when out. Never a good look. 4. Needing a full can of hairspray to keep fringe intact on windy days. 5. My fringe is the only part of my hair that seems to grow at an alarming rate, so in two weeks I'll look like a sheep dog. However, in four weeks it'll be long again and I'll need not worry about having a gross, sticky fringe for summer or fringe separation. Hurrah! On the plus-side fringes hide my huge Tyra Banks forehead.Just need to find a cool but not too expensive salon...

Done.

What a superficial post.

Oh and in other news, I'm going to be meeting up with Sarah in Dublin at the end of November! Yayness! Confirmed with her tonight and told her to lock it in Eddie!

Well, eventually I'll make a post about the Greek Islands... maybe tomorrow... or the next day...

I think I'm getting a cold from the weather change here. Cold, warm, cold, warm, hot, cold, warm. Argh!

I've been watching a ridiculous amount of movies and my current one is The September Issue, which is a documentary about Anna Wintour and her role as Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Magazine. Very interesting; I don't think she is quite the ice queen everyone makes her out to be. She's not warm and fuzzy by any means, but she does her job and she does it well. Is it because she is a woman that she is branded with this label? Would it be different if she were a man? Questions many have already asked but no one has the answers to. Well, I like her. She's smart, passionate and straightforward. I identify with that.

Yawn. I'm going to bed. It's weird saying goodnight when you guys are just waking up. Actually it's like 10:30am your time, you guys have been up and trucking along for some time now. If I were still in Sydney at my last job, this is about the time I'd be emailing Natasha telling her to meet me in the kitchen for a coffee break. We've earned it! And then I'd turn around and wait until she's read the email and then she'd turn around too and nod. Ahhh, good times. And I hear I have not been replaced in this regard. Good to hear.

I really need to sleep.

I'll probably delete this post in the morning because there really is no point to it. I can't even be bothered adding a song to the end of it.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......
